Info and Description

This idea is not a new one. Its more of an innovation from what is currently available in SL. It is a tricky process as this group may come across arrogant and a little elitist, but after discussing with friends and the average SL user, more and more people seem to want a little quality control in what they are being advertised as "the best" or "greatest" products in the fashion world which is our focus at Ready To Wear.

The idea is to get a group of designers of high quality in all areas of fashion in the one info hub available to group members for free. Now how is quality established? Well I think just like the real world it consists of basic principals, only the principals differ in a digital concept.

What's important to you as a consumer? 

Myself I look for clothing that has:

1. Little to no seam issues

2. Texture and shading

3. Well constructed prim work

4. Clothing that enhances the look of the avatar

and obviously your choice in styling be it Goth to Neko to the Runway... it has to be of really good quality.

Ready to Wear will try and moderate the best we can, so the group member won't be spammed with notices that are non release related and limit notices to 1 -2 notices to each designer per week. This way we hope to give the latest product information and we want you to know when a "Blue Box" drops down from Ready to Wear it will be well worth the look.

It won't be an easy task but I think with the co-operation from Designers and Group Members this group could really become one of excellent quality.

I will endeavour to contact the number of designers I have in mind and with the help of some high profile fashion bloggers try and compile a great list to the offering. 

If you feel your of high quality design and an established designer and we have missed you, please don't hesitate to send through an application with the following:

In a folder... named R2W and "your Avatar Name"

2-3 Pictures of your work or even better some review copies of items

Landmark to your store.

On a note card a brief description of your store and products.

The application will be moderated through a panel of judges. So it won't just be my personal opinion and if not accepted it will never be for personal reasons, it is solely based on quality.

THIS GROUP WILL BE AN ALTERNATIVE TO WHAT IS ON OFFER AND IS IN NO WAY A MUST HAVE IN THE GROUP LIST, REMEMBER THE CHOICE IS YOURS AND THEIR IS OTHER OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM SO PLEASE FEEL FREE NOT TO JOIN OR CONSIDER READY TO WEAR.
